The Savoy Long Jetty Wedding | Maddie & Todd

To think these guys at the Savoy in Long Jetty have never hosted a Wedding is baffling. What a venue, so cute and low-key it screams everything so many brides and grooms are looking for. The Savoy, Long Jetty is actually an old renovated Movie Cinema from the 1950’s, which was recently purchased by a local family and renovated to bring it back to life. Weddings at the Savoy Long Jetty are not a common occurrence, and when I was contacted by Maddie I was so intrigued I knew I just had to do it.

Loving old school stuff myself, this was right up my alley. The staff at the Savoy Long Jetty absolutely nailed it. Forget the fact that they technically do not have a wedding planner, the staff got it done without a hiccup for probably close to 100 guests.

As for our lovely bride and groom…well this was the Savoy Long Jettys Wedding of the century, literally (sorry for the shitty joke)! And did they not look the part. Todd, dressed in a custom hand made 3 piece suit to replicate the old gentleman look, and Maddie with a gorgeous flowing gown, and stunning red hair, it just felt like I had stepped back in time. Guests were met with a delicious cocktail and bucket of popcorn for the ‘pre ceremony movie’ to add to the authentic feel.
